This lock I used for a few years at my local YMCA branches and got in the best shape of my life. Due to budget cuts at work and in my life, I can't afford the Y any more. Some people can afford to still go with help from friends or relatives, I just haven't asked the right people I guess.
So, here we are again at MacroMonday's suggested theme of the week..
This week's theme is 'Security." Each week we post up to five images in the MacroMonday flickr group showing our interpretation of the theme.
This week I shot a lot more than five so it has been kind of hard to edit my choices down to five.

People come and put locks on the railing just outside of the gatehouse. I'm not sure exactly why....
The intense green in this shot reminds me of lime lights and acting or speaking on stage. Doing that makes people lock upand have stage fright. This reminds me of that some how.

Jason works as a Marine Masterlock. He's in charge of opening and closing historical Ballard locks (boats' passages) in Seattle. He is easy going and relaxed. He had no problem posing for my pictures. He's barely 22 years old and worked here about 2 years, alongside much older and experienced masterlocks. Now, he's also a student so he works just on weekends. He is not sure what major to pick so he's taking his time to explore his options.
This is stranger #3 in my 100 strangers project.
