A Mexican style Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) mask contemplates a skull. The colours here are deliberately chosen for their surreal effect.

* I should add these days (I suppose). This is NOT an AI image, It is a multiple exposure made photograph. It is photography.

Few days ago saw Misturu Nikaido's Kabuki mask and really loved the idea. So this is what I came up with.

Found this mask laying about a friend's house. The history of masques is interesting enough. Especially when we all struggle with our own identities at times.

This mask grants the wearer a very destructive ability to overdrive the functions of an opponent’s body. It emits waves which go through the victim to the brain, which cause the body to overdo itself, making the victim go into a weakened state.

best of luck to everyone entering the contest!

Even before the coronavirus pandemic hit Mainland China and then eventually the world, putting masks up in public was a rather common and ordinary thing in East Asian countries such as China, Taiwan and South Korea.

Charlene Chartrand (just click her name in the tags) is not just a beautiful face. She's also a talented artist. Richard photographed her canvases earlier this year.

In this advanced Photoshop tutorial I will show you how to create a nice floating woman in a forest. We will turn the forest from day to night effect in Photoshop and we will mask the sky using Calculations. We will create realistic depth of field using a Depth Map and we’ll paint realistic hair and light effects.

Carnevale di Venezia 2018

It's the time of the sand sculpture exhibition at Ludwigsburg and I went there early this morning when the park opened to avoid the worst heat. They have some amazing sculptures again this year and I will show a few more in the next days. This one is called "Venitian Masks" and was created by a team of sand artists. They used 32 tons of sand for this sculpture. There is another capture in the comments which shows the other side of the sculpture.

2009 New Delhi

This picture was taken in a single exposure time with the help of a digital camera and not post-processed in Photoshop. An image processing program was only used to remove the image noise and to trim. The aim of light painting is the S.O.O.C. (straight out of camera).

The picture was taken by cross lightning with different colors.

Mask cross was created by adjusting the tilt-shift lens. The mask was not moved. After each lens adjustment, the mask must be illuminated again with the corresponding colors.
