I've just re-edited these digital photos and tried to give them the look of pictures taken in the 60s or 70s on black and white film and scanned.
One flashed frame from a few months ago. This was when I used my ridiculous ringflash w/moon unit set up bounced into the ceiling just behind the camera. I'd do this so much differently now but it was a huge step up from what I was doing previously. I see some issues - reflections and harshly lit areas. Any feedback is appreciated.
Crosti-boilered 9F No.92029 drifts through a disused Marshfield station on the down main towards Cardiff. Located halfway between Newport and Cardiff on the South Wales Main Line, the station closed to passengers on 10 August 1959, the island platform already having been demolished. Goods traffic here ended in Jan 1965, although the yard remained open for milk container traffic from the nearby milk depot for another few years.
