Holy shit. It is THE Johnny Marr. This whole meeting was something out of a sitcom. I went to see the Cribs, and was having drinks at the bar with a friend before the doors opened. My friend had to leave to go get something from his car, while I waited. Soon after he left, who came through the door into the bar---Johnny! Ugggh *dead* I didn't know what to do so as he was reaching for the door to go outside, I ridiculously said, "Johnny", and he turned around and gave me a puzzled "am I supposed to know you" kind of look, and I said I was sorry to be so intrusive, but that I was a fan and wanted to say hello. He asked me my name and said, "nice name....NICE name"..lol. He then asked me what I did and I explained and he said, "well, those both are quite important jobs to have!". haha. We chatted a bit longer, and he was just the BEST. wow.
Imagine the devastating news I had to report upon my friend's return that I had just had a chat with the Smiths legend while he was gone. Ouch.
*The story has a happy ending, however. Alester met Johnny after the show and I was greeted with "Nice to see you again, darling"....oh god. I can die now.

The first wind turbine tower has arrived on site at the Marr Wind Farm project in Doncaster.
Four turbines in total will make up the scheme, with each one taking up to three days to erect. The remaining turbines will be delivered to site before 14th October.
Marr Wind Farm is located to the west of junction 37 of the A1. When fully operational it will have an installed capacity of up to 12MW and generate enough power to meet the energy requirements of up to 6,700 homes.
This is the first renewable energy project for CHC. Works include local authority liaison, planning finalisation, design and construction for the civil and electrical engineering works and CDM supervision of the turbine delivery and installation.
Works are currently on programme and the wind farm is scheduled to be operational by early 2012.
