My attempt at achieving a Daguerreotype look, with the assistance of natural light, the outdoors, a black sheet, the EF 85mm f1.2 II, Silver Efex and Lo-fi.
So I was snooping around the internet for pics of all the suits in iron man 3 and I found these. As you can see all of the suits look really cool. (Kinda sad what happened to them in the movie) If I tagged you, I thought your custom work is really good and I also though you might wanna look at these for references for future customizations. Such a beautiful couple! I met Laurel at a business mixer in Orange County and didn't find out she was Los Angeles 2007 Queen Miss Chinatown until I went on her website!! This explains her astonishing beauty!
She had a list of ideas she wanted to do during the engagement session and we covered most of it. "Playing cards on grass" was one of the top priorities so I suggested that they thew up the cards in the air and this is what we came up with. They were such great sports in every idea I suggested.
It doesn't end in this casual day session, we are scheduled to do a formal night session in Pasadena with her gown and his suit. Can't wait to see the beautiful couple again!
This one is quite interesting to me (although I didn't know it at the time), as it was 1st registered the day before my mother's birthdate.
Das Schloss, dessen Bau 1711 begonnen worden war, diente im Lauf seiner Geschichte verschiedenen Zwecken. Kurz vor Ausbruch des 2. Weltkrieges waren noch Arbeiten zum Umbau in eine Polizeischule begonnen worden. Den Weltkrieg überstand das Gebäude relativ unbeschadet. 1956 begann die Stadt, das Schloss wieder nutzbar zu machen. Für den Umbau wurde zunächst das Dach entfernt. Aber 1958 wurde von höherer Instanz die politische Entscheidung getroffen, die Arbeiten einzustellen. Ohne Dach Wind und Wetter ausgesetzt verfiel der Bau zusehends. Von 2000 bis 2005 wurden Sicherungsmaßnahmen durchgeführt, die einen weiteren Verfall verhindern, ein Wiederaufbau ist nicht vorgesehen.
The Palace, the building of which started in 1711, served different purposes along its history. Shortly before the outbreak of World War II adaption works had been initiated for transforming it into a Police Academy. The building had suffered little damage during the war, aind in 1956 the city administration began to adapt it to new uses. This required dismantling the roof. But in 1958 a higher authority decided for political reasons that all works had to be cancelled although the Palace still was lacking a roof. Exposed to wind and rain, the building entered rapidly into decay and ruin. From 2000 to 2005 conservation works were realized to prevent further decay, but there are no plans for a reconstruction.

Mark O'Brien, President of the Ann Arbor Area Crappy Camera Club and Cheryl Chidester, the Argus Museum curator. Cheryl was so kind and opened the museum for our group. It's a pretty awesome place.

This Question Mark was found perched on the underside of a leaf. I took the shot lying on my back on the forest floor. I actually had to tickle the butterfly to get it to open the wings and fortunately it did not fly off. I took this in 2009 but remember taking it like it was yesterday. (12/29/2015)
