Below is some information on Marcus Aurelius from Wikipedia.
"Marcus Aurelius was Roman emperor from 161 to 180 and a Stoic philosopher. He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors, and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace and stability for the Roman Empire. He served as Roman consul in 140, 145, and 161."
A relief panel from a monument built to honor Hardian. This depicts the emperor Marcus Aurelius entering the city, welcomed by the Genius of the Senate, the Genius of the people of Rome, and the Goddess Roma. The deity is characterized by a short tunic, which reveals her right shoulder, and a plumbed helmet covering her head.
Panel on display at Musei Capitolini, Rome, on the first landing of the large staircase.
