No, not the Australian Outback, my Subaru Outback. :-) On a very gray, rainy morning beneath our Sunset Red Maple tree.
Fallen maple leaf and its muted reflection on the roof of my Subaru Outback.
My flickr contact Dale and I made a pleasant autumn color photo outing back on October 22, 2012. Weather was not ideal, but we found some good photo opportunities. This big maple (I think) leaf was spotted along the roadside by a farm north of Dexter, Michigan.

I got two new tattoos. This one is a maple leaf done in a celtic style. It is on my right forearm and is a good match for the gecko done in a celtic style on my left forearm
“My life is like an autumn leaf
I lie around unclaimed.
The breeze blows me around,
To be trampled under the feet of men.
Natures cruel feast has bestowed me with pain,
Pain of being a part,
Just a part of someone.
Pain of departing,
Departing from that one.
Pick me up like a rose,
And hold me to your heart.
Keep me there till he does not come.
And when he comes do a good deed,
Dig the earth below,
And bury me deep
For I don't want to lie around,
Unclaimed, unloved.”

A friend's 1938 Maple Leaf (Chevrolet) heavy duty truck, it's an ex-Coca Cola delivery truck from small town southern Ontario, perhaps 1940's or 1950's?
