Green maple leaves in city park in the spring afternoon

We went for a short pick-nick (without food but with a camera) on the Lousberg. The weather was ok, and at 10am on a sunday there aren't any people having BBQ or playing with their dogs.

The coloration and deterioration pattern of maple leaves in the fall is always fascinating. the yard at home contains a number of Maple trees and it is always fascinating to watch and compare the coloration between the different trees in the yard.

This was a photo I took of leaves on a Japanese Red Maple tree that I turned into a 90x60 bead mosaic.

It is made with 5,400 beads and is 17.25" wide by 11.37" high.

It is made with Perler/Hama/Nabbi fuse beads.

I made it on November 25, 2010.
