I am drawing this huge Dungeon Master World Map with MS Paint. All single accessories: houses, trees, rocks have been designed and placed one by one. It is in close relation with my novel that I am writing about this game.
The places described there, have been pointed out to me by Bewuuf, one forum administrator of dungeon-master.com.
I realized too late that on his sketch, he described only one human castle... Banville. One day I should re-edit this area to respect the original idea.
It still too much to do. It is far to be completed.
WALL CLOCK AND THERMOMETER
We have laser etched one of Eamo's incredibly detailed hand drawn piece onto timber, to wich he has added a clock and thermometer. A very unique product, an icon from 1970's.

1780s map created by the British military; amazingly detailed and accurate, so much so that it was extremely useful for researchers looking into the natural/topographical history of the island.
Amazing to see where hills, streams, ponds used to be. The island looks so different today.
Galapagos is peace, human history, and evolution. We hope it means the same to you. Help us to protect it for generations to come.

Arad Sat Pic - google maps
Felt like I needed a good overhead view, and, since I can't take this shot myself... got it from maps.google.com
Next time I go back I hope to visit the Citadel (it's the green flower shaped thing in the bend of the river, apparently they use it to train their military now, but, still, it is (hearsay) supposed to be a really really old defensive structure.
The Strand is to the left of it, between the green "flower" and the Mures River, it's the little strip on the W to NW side of the bend.
Micalaca, where Mom lives, is across the river on the east side of the flower. That's the communist-style appt buildings in my shots. Mostly.
Downtown with the majority of the older buildings is the E-W street just across the Mures from the "flower." Not on the river side, but the next street.
I believe, but am not certain, that the little green arrow that Google placed is either more downtown, or the industrial zone.

I swapped a craft magazine for some old OS maps with somebody on Twitter. This is the first thing I've made with them. I have hundreds more so looking for inspiration.
Written by myself and Beth at a recent KMM, with various commentary from other attendees. Somewhat accurate as of July 2006. Christopher is in NO WAY resposable for ANY of this. (except maybe Keira Knightley.)
