The bright, directional morning sun coming through the window creates a nice splash of warm light on the floor, and that is where the star of our show positioned himself this morning. Sprawled in the middle of the spotlight, sunning himself, and not at all minding when I pulled out the camera and one of the best lenses out there - the Zeiss Milvus 2/135mm. Cherokee was happy to pose; he knows he's beautiful.

Midday sun brings out the brilliance of this water lily while a few Koi rise in anticipation of their evening meal. The red flowers on the surface are from a nearby Jatropha tree.

Our Governor is easing some of the restrictions today. I snuck out a day early and grabbed a few shots. Not a soul in sight during my outing except for passing cars.
