Far from an ideal setup but this pretty clearly shows the flaws of the old Promaster 85-210. I compared with the old manual focus Nikon Micro Nikkor 105mm F4.0 since it is cheap but also known to be fairly good. I adapted both lenses to a Sony a5000 on a tripod and tried to keep all settings and lighting the same.
You will see a lot more "fuzz" in the Promaster (bottom) across the image in both focused and out-of-focus areas.
I laid out using the iPhone app Diptic.
Another set of pictures I found in a folder, and I have no idea why they are there - I've long forgotten, and there's no common theme or time. Some of these images are 20 years old.
I have little idea of which camera or lens, but I would say they are all taken with a classic manual focus lens on a digital camera of some sort.
Blargh this manual focus!!! The Yusuke started dancing in their live performances of their new song. I didn't know when it was coming. Oh man, it was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen.

Founded by their guitarist, Full Metal Ninja, this group of talented musicians has been hitting the local rock scene with a brand spanking new style of music that intrigues listeners of all persuasions. The manual focus version of the AF Lens reviewed in February. And for the longest time my go-to manual focus lens. Sharp, Heavy, Well Balanced, and Good Quality it always comes with when I take out a Nikon MF kit.
The full review drops in April 2020.

This is from a series of first shots with my 'new' Nikkor-H Auto 85mm f/1.8 Kogaku lens.

Manual focus legacy lens (70mm f/2) using the E-M5's built-in 2X digital teleconverter (140mm f/2)
Street photography the hard way - non-metering camera and manual focus lens. Turned out the Apo-Telyt 180mm on a DX camera is just too much lens for the job most of the time.

I love this lens, but I've GOT to get better at manual focus. In my defense, it was snowing, and really cold!
I tried to focus on the Chiff Chaff up ahead and ended up focusing on the greenery behind it. Still made for an interesting photo I thought.
