For this project I wanted to use some of my old manual focus Nikkor lenses. It was something of a personal challenge to see if I could get everything I wanted in focus, even with automobiles in motion.
Day One - As cars arrived I had a very nice 35mm Nikon Nikkor f/2 pre-Ai mounted on a Sony A7. And I had a Sony NEX-7 with a LensTurbo II focal reducer and a 105mm f/2.5 Nikkor-P (later version).
Day Two - The contestant cars were displayed in the Grand Palais Ephemere at the base of the Champs de Mars. I used the Sony A7 and a Nikkor-UD 20mm f/3.5 and a Sony NEX-7 with Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 and the 105mm f/2.5 Nikkor-P (later version).
With CV19 numbers spiking again here in Europe, I feared events would continue to be cancelled. But, just like last year, it looks like they were able to squeak in another Tour Auto. This is the old Tour de France Automobile reborn. And this is clearly an event for the well-heeled.
The hardest part...was cleaning it, not taking it off...
The hardest part...Oh-o-oo
The hardest part...was holding it, not taking the shot...
The hardest part...Oh-o...
No, it didn't take me ages to make that up. I am quite random...lol. I've been listening to Coldplay a lot these days.
This is a Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm F-1.4 lens. It was on my dad's Minolta SRT 303b, which I'm waiting to get fixed so I can use it, because its an amazing camera!
I think its one of my best shots(till NOW, and considering my current skills), even if it doesn't seem original.
等我擔起頭家!

Manual focus - one of the important experience
In focusing process, will go through the other focus.
Resulting in different feelings in different focus. (If you have attention to this process)
This experience is the following photos are taken. (at first wanted to focus on the eye)
This phase has a strong feeling I would play, entitled "Let me take up this house! "
In fact, in daily life, think - look - Select - feel [the usual] may lead to other than ....... surprise!

35mm FoV funk. Manual Focus funk. Slow sync funk.
Saudi Arabian Boeing 747-400 1:200 scale model by Herpa. This is last of a series of shots I took at 35mm, some with manual focusing. Why? Becoz I'm contemplating whether to get a fast 35mm prime lens.
Or my auto focus sucks.
Either way, this is what the countryside may look like when you lose a contact lens or two. :)
Running around late at night after going to see Cherish the Ladies at the Albuquerque Zoo with friends. I set the camera to manual focus and ISO 3200 and f/1.4 and ran around with the kids and holding down the shutter. A couple of them were almost interesting :)

Another set of pictures I found in a folder, and I have no idea why they are there - I've long forgotten, and there's no common theme or time. Some of these images are 20 years old.
I have little idea of which camera or lens, but I would say they are all taken with a classic manual focus lens on a digital camera of some sort.
