Using a 1957 5cm DR Summicron mounted on my Fuji X-E3. One of the great things with Fujis is the ease of mounting a legacy lens using an inexpensive adapter.
Vintage Clubman manual/Focus 200mm FD lens converted to OM. Hand held macro shot.... distance from subject 2 to 3ft. This is not a crop.
Lensbaby Sweet 22 - manual focus Because there are no electrical contacts on the lens, the camera is unable to read any EXIF and assumes that the 40-150 is attached.

Getting more bold with the manual focus on my Canon EOS camera, in situations where auto focus just isn't cutting it.

The boys practicing, super long exposure, super dark conditions. I was prepared to give up on the zenit but these shots turned out to be more interesting than I had anticipated. The rewind arm is missing from the camera so I had to pull the film out in my daylight bag, which resulted in some scratches on the negatives.
Matt and Isaac from Odawas stopped by today for some fritters and french fries. The rosemary-garlic fries turned out pretty well - although I'm always thinking of ways to improve my cooking. I flavored the oil with a few cloves and some rosemary but think it might be better to do the initial fry, use a ground garlic salt rosemary seasoning mix, and then do the final flash fry. Or perhaps a rosemary butter garlic dipping sauce? But that would border on unhealthy.
Isaac, a fellow and current Hoosier, agreed that I've got some work to do on my fritter batter. I'm thinking the recipe I have has WAY too much baking powder in it, and that the oil just isn't getting hot enough. Matt, a native Chicagoan, doesn't know the difference. It's sad really.
four more shots from today playing around with the helios 44/m manual focus lens and the olympus m10 mk2 . quite pleased with the results .
something different for me

This is my first shot with a lens with a very interesting history.
I belong to thread on Fred Miranda called Manual Focus Nikon Glass. It is a thread dedicated to Nikon shooters using only manual focus Nikon lenses. It is a great little community with some excellent photographers. The thread is, I believe, the second largest on the forum with over 2600 pages. What can I say, we like to talk!
This particular lens was "donated" to the thread, for lack of a better term, by one of the members. The goal would be to ship it to various members so they could shoot with it and also share their part of the world. It has pretty much been around the world since it's start in Australia and it has been very interesting seeing all of the places that I will probably never have the chance to visit.
Now it is finally my turn with the lens (that everyone affectionately calls Nikki) for a couple of weeks before moving on to her last stop before being shipped home to Australia. Another member has very graciously started a blog of the adventures and posts all of the pictures from each visit. If you are interested, it is called Around The World With A Nikon Lens.
