Various sights, as we made our way NW on W Colorado Ave, which becomes Manitou Ave, on the way to our destiny with the train which would take us up Pikes Peak.
Manitou Springs CO, a quaint village, nestled against the mountains. For you Kansas City folk, it's like Westport on steroids. It had lots of hippies, when I was a kid, and last Sunday afternoon, it appeared to still have them. Saw a woman at least sixty years old, with long hair, just a-flauntin' it like a super model!
Manitou is a unique place. It's the first place I ever saw the art of blowing glass.
