This manipulated image was done for digital challenge number 48 www.flickr.com/groups/380546@N22/discuss/72157604045825825/ where we start from an image (in this case just the scene with guns) and try to make it more interesting. I added all the people and horse.
The Generals are looking out thinking about the enemy approach, but they are already right behind them with spears about to be prodded. They should wake up when the bag-pipes start up.
This is a layered, tinted raw brass frlowe set that I riveted and wired to the manipulated heavy sash brooch finding with the 25x18mm hole from B'sue Boutiques......added a bit of chain and my own clasp made from an large heavy open disc (we have them at the site) and a stray toggle bar from my workshop. I colorized the sash brooch by holding it in the fire in our woodburner! then sealing with Renwax. What a hoot. It probably took a whole half hour to make.

Sunlight filters through young pines on the forest floor along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville. This experiment in image manipulation looks better if viewed large.
Minolta Autocord camera, #092 filter, Rollei/Gevaert 820c film developed in D-23 10.5 minutes @ 20C; scanned in-house and worked up in Photoshop.

Either someone at DCLU has gone round the bend, or someone's having a bit
of fun with a sign printer.
these are my pages in my mole for "sketch connection" - the point is to be paired up with another penpal who draws/illustrates and learn about each other through letters and by exchanging our moles back and forth.
the face of the sun is a manipulated {burnt} transparency and the bottom has a couple of the vintage tickets I'm currently addicted to!
