Soundtrack: Unit 187 - "anger management (part II)
... back on the "widescreen" idea, and another favorite subject of mine (surveillance in the "information age"). does this sort of control really do anything good to anyone (except for the manufacturers of monitoring hardware, of course)? is "surveillance" the only answer we can come up with, facing some severe social and political problems? did things get out of hands once again?

Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them! Thanks again!!

"Psychology"
a schema describes patterns of thinking and behavior that people use to interpret the world. We use schemas because they allow us to take shortcuts in interpreting the vast amount of information that is available in our environment.
Theorist Jean Piaget introduced the term schema, and its use was popularized through his work. According to his theory of cognitive development, children go through a series of stages of intellectual growth.
In Piaget's theory, a schema is both the category of knowledge as well as the process of acquiring that knowledge. He believed that people are constantly adapting to the environment as they take in new information and learn new things.
quote
Everything which distinguishes man from the animals depends upon this ability to volatilize perceptual metaphors in a schema, and thus to dissolve an image into a concept.

no flickriver badge-, no tumbnails of You`r photos- and no begging for visits or comments, please (my photo...would you please...would You consider...please consider...I need...). I perceive this rude and unwelcome.
In my opinion comments or awards should honour striking good photography and should be given by choice.
Comments or awards given only for courtesy, -in return or on demand are quite worthless.

Very painterly, manipulated and saturated, the nature does not want to be captured in her simply and pure beauty by me...
