Original chart for Milw St.Croix Tower(QM), Hastings,MN. Joint CB&Q operation to St.Paul. Note: all levers in operation, center siding(109 car lengths),Milw Stilllwater branch arcing across Q directly under US Hwy 61(then the Spiral bridge till 51). Also see the CB&Q depot and set out spur are West of Q diamonds. Later moved to East of diamonds and on river side off WWD track with 10 car team track as we remember near King's Cove Marina. Milw ACS ends at end of double track Hastings. For those not familiar with interlockers, FPL refers to Facing Point Lock. The locking bar that secures switches, derails and devices. A side note that before Newport Tower(RT) was built 1904, the DS was here.Joint operation starts 1903 account two single track RR's with a steep grade on Milw up to Langdon was found to be inefficient, hence left hand running. Q WWD, Milw EWD. Assume we start with all levers in. Pull out in order the levers per which route desired per chart.
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
How faithfully you blossom!
Through summer’s heat and winter’s chill
Your leaves are green and blooming still.
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
How faithfully you blossom!
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
With what delight I see you!
When winter days are dark and drear
You bring us hope for all the year.
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
With what delight I see you!
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
You bear a joyful message:
That faith and hope shall ever bloom
To bring us light in winter’s gloom.
O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum,
You bear a joyful message
loose translation from org
"O Tannenbaum" (German: [oː ˈtanənbaʊm]; "O fir tree", English: O Christmas Tree) is a German Christmas song. Based on a traditional folk song which was unrelated to Christmas, it became associated with the traditional Christmas tree by the middle of the 19th century and sung as a Christmas carol.
