This weekend we went up to North East PA, where Chris is from. It was a lot of fun this weekend, I was able to attend my first wine tour and it was a blast. We got on a bus and went to a bunch of different wineries and got to sample a bunch of different wines. I ended up liking the dry and semi- sweet almost everywhere we went. I ended up coming home with four different wines, even some red which I usually don't care for...My favorite had to be the apple wine- so good! We decided to go pick up some fireworks for the 4th of July and we came across some smoke bombs. I wanted to use them for my photos- NEVER AGAIN! My eyes hurt sooooooo bad and all they did was water and my lungs feel terrible! I had to shower right after the shoot because I smelled like them. My boyfriend would light them for me and I would get in as many photos before I started coughing and closing my eyes. We had about 7 smoke bombs and only one photo really turned out good. I had the camera on continueous and just keep shooting but the smoke is so difficult to work with- there is a ton of it, it smells, burns your eyes and you never know which way the wind will take it- The photo above was actually purple smoke and it looked so pretty against the greens but I ended up trying it in black and white and it just had more of an impact on me. I hope you guys like it! I don't think I saved the color version but I can always re-edit it if you'd like to see it. This is three different photos, and I love how they came together, I hope you do too! xo
