Hazel and Archie wanted some bricks for the patio they are making in the garden so went over to the famous "Trash To Treasure" Beeston reclamation yard to buy a few.
This is the nose of the old frame sitting with a pile of both old and new replacement parts. Someday it will likely be hung as permanent devcoration on the shop walls as a reminder of just how long this path to a rebuild has been.
Urbex....a great wee day out. Met Stepbar (Stephen) & Macredeye (Cliff) in Larne for a good mooch in the old Bleach Green, absolutely brilliant. I learnt heaps, took loads of shots and the craic was great. JDHolic (Jonny) and Irishmanlost (Pete) joined us also and we headed to the Drum later....spooky :O

Pole down, wires mangled, street lights missing.....this intersection had it all.

Mangles were used to grind up root vegtables - such as Turnips and Beets, to be used as feed to Animals. We have this exact model at home on the family farm.
