Pulled the 4-pack from my car and a beer drops on the driveway. The driveway is inclined and the beers takes off for the street. My old ass had to sprint and kick it into the lawn before it rolled out in front of an SUV. Beer saved but tweaked my knee in the process.

The same white 300CE captured a few weeks ago - possibly a result of the icy weather!

Sereno e indestructible el mangle reposa sobre las orillas de los esteros resistiendo ciclones, tormentas y mareas. Lo único que lo destruye es la mano del hombre en su afán de construir desarrollos donde no se debe

Toban Black took a photo of this poster in its original form, which can be seen here:

Apparently somebody disagreed enough to go to the trouble of not just scratching out the middle line, but fully cutting it out of the poster, completely turning around the original message. I took this photograph because I thought it should be documented - I tore the poster down seconds later and tossed it in the recycle bin. I'm not sure how long this poster was up in this mangled form.

Mangle or red mangrove. This species of mangrove has long stilt roots that help keep it rooted in the tidal mud flats where it grows. Native to the Caribbean, red mangrove plays an important role here in providing habitat for fish and water birds. In Hawai'i, the tree is invasive, as it displaces native coastal vegetation and takes over fishponds.

On show at Arreton Barns IOW

Here is a great example of tall Red Mangroves in South Florida. These are by FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus. I would estimate the heights of these are around 40 feet. I haven't seen prop roots so big before on a red mangrove down here.

Atividade de reflorestamento do mangue de Itaipu - INEA - RJ.

On the north shore of Boulder Reservoir in Boulder, Colorado.

We went to a sale in a field. The farmer had emptied the contents of his barns out onto old trailers and we all rummaged about. I only got smaller things including a good old wooden box but there were plenty of mangles, treadle sewing machines, ploughs and even vintage cars for the more ambitious buyers.

A job for the patch and weld man.

this was a back up to 'Star Spangled Peg'... I prefer this one but that one is doing so well at the moment :-)

There is of course a little bit of editing going on here, not least of which is to do with that perfect circle through which shines the Union Jack... My Swedish friend volunteered several of her peggy plant-pot stands and I selected what one I thought would look best. this was one of the better ones because all the little detail features were aligned more uniformly but because the pegs are all different sizes the central bit was more like a square that picasso had drawn while suffering a major migraine! So using the circular selection tool I deleted most of the straggly bits leaving just one or two for reality, layering the jack underneath came as an afterthought.

Testing arm positions to make her a hanger. I'm going to seal the leg seam (but also make it possible to un-seal it if I need to) and put eye hooks in her shoulders so she can be like Cirque du Soleil, wrapped in flowing ribbons! NEAT!!! Thanks DAD!!!

My wifes Aunt`s old mangle, which has been in our family for around 100 years ,as far as we can trace back.I am in the process of restoring it.All the bearing surfaces are completely worn out so it needs a lot of welding and machining.

A family heirloom,so worth all the work.

This Prius has seen better days.
