The flood did a good amount of damage, including bending, twisting, and mangling railroads. This railroad was clearly mangled by the flood waters. 1976.

A toy mangle by Triang, dating from the 1950s, my wife's latest acquisition, from Dorchester. The handle for turning the rollers is cast from the same mould used for the steering wheels of Triang pedal cars. When produced, this very sturdy wooden and iron toy would have been firmly aimed at preparing little girls for their future role as housewives!

The three Lines Brothers adopted a triangle as their trademark. Eventually of course, the company became "Triang". They started making toys after WW1 and eventually had 40 companies world-wide, including the famous Hornby, Meccano and Dinky brands. During WW2, they turned their production over to the manufacture of Sten sub machine guns. In 1972 they went into receivership and sold off their companies.

This is the underside of an overturned tree near Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. In whole, it is probably five feet across. It was pretty impressive when I came across it. I was particularly drawn to the curved lines and colors in the wood.

Halloween

These squigs are quite a bit of fun to paint. They're a little expensive, so I figured I would split them apart into two models to get the most "bang" for my buck. I just had to fix them up a bit to look good on their own.

I've managed to scrape together enough free time to finish painting all the current miniatures in my Goblin army. With any luck, I'll be able to get a picture of the whole army before the end of my Winter Break.

En el orden usual, los participantes de la mesa principal: Grettel Navas (traductora), Claudia Amegankpoe (Eco-Ecolo), Bernardo Aguilar (Fundación Neotrópica), Marianella Feoli (Fundecooperación) y Juan Carlos Crespo (Fundación Neotrópica)

You can just see the mangling of Morf through the fence.

mangled trees in the park, shot with mamiya c220 80mm f2.8 blue dot lens and 120 film

Sanibel Island, Florida.

© 2006 Andrew A Reding. Comments (including corrections) invited. Photographed RAW, so customizable. Photos are reduced; check my profile page for information on use of full-size originals.

Kodak Ektacolor Pro paper negative (well expired) cut to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 and shot in Pre Anniversary 3x4 Speed Graphic. Scientific Lens Co wide angle symmetrical lens, with Waterhouse stops at (US) f/16 - about 105mm.

Exposed for 1/2 second (thereabouts).

Older RA-4 developer brushed onto the paper negative in complete darkness -- more difficult than one may imagine. Plus dripping, smearing, rippling, etc... 2 minute development at room temp. Water stop/wash. Fixed in Ilford Hypam 1:4.

My stop did not work well enough and the image shifted and fogged in the light so this was the best we could do. But what is it?

This is still experimental and perhaps more violent than I want, but the look is interesting. The focus (lack thereof) probably helps.

Manglor is desirest of skin. Manglor is desirest of your skin. Particularly yer neckmeats.
