Kurz vor Villagrande. Dieses Foto entstand bei krassem Gegenlicht. Ein paar Tage später war ich bei bewölktem Himmel noch einmal dort, doch leider kam ein ADe mit Graffiti
Der Schülerzug von Mandas nach Monserrato und zurück ist der letzte lokbespannte Zug auf der Hauptsrecke. Am späten Nachmittag des 28. Oktober 2016 rangiert die Diesellok LDe 607 an ihren Zug um ihn am folgenden Tag nach Monserrato zu bringen

Story behind the picture: There was a gas leak in our school, so a lot of us were wearing those masks to protest being there. One of my friends wore an actual gas mask and got kicked out for it.

When I first saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it for my nephew Liam. It probably won’t fit him until late fall or early winter, but that is okay because he has lots of other sweaters to fill the void with. I loved knitting this sweater! It was such a joy to knit up; top down construction has to be one of my favorite ways of knitting a sweater, especially for little babies. Can’t wait for Liam to fit into it!
Carbon Transfer print from 8x10 HP5 film negative. Mixed in a little more Venetian Red than I usually do with the Lamp Black water colour for this batch of carbon tissue... but I like it. This is from my Manda coal mine series, in Omuta, Japan.
