So sieht im Moment leider der Restbetrieb auf dem ehemaligen sardischen Südnetz aus. Derzeit verkehren nur Züge zwischen Mandas und Isili. Eingesetzt werden diese extrem mit Grafitti beschmierten ADe. Früher habe ich mich über die Grafitti aufgeregt, jetzt bin ich froh, dass überhaupt noch ein Zug verkehrt. Noch ca. 1,5 km, dann hat der aus Isili kommender ADe den Bahnhof Mandas erreicht. Im Vordergrund zweigt das Streckengleis nach Arbatax von der Linie Mandas Sorgono ab.
Als der ADe den letzten Bahnübergang vor Arbatax überquerte war das Licht wirklich fast aus. Die Wartezeit habe ich mir mit einem netten Gespräch mit dem Bahnübergangssicherungsposten vertrieben. Ich kann kein italienisch, er kein deutsch aber die Verständigung mit gebrochenem englisch und "Händen und Füßen" klappte mal wieder hervorragend. Dafür liebe ich die Sarden ... ein supernettes Volk !!!

How do I know? The license plate, of course. Although in truth they might be in England with an auto imported from Iraq.
What I can't tell is if this is from the British Mandate of Mesopotamia era or (1932 on) Kingdom of Iraq. The photo came with no marks of identification on it, apart from being on Velox paper. Can anyone date the automobile?
This is a new item I worked on this week. Should I sculpt the horns better? This is not the final, as you can see I had some problems with bubbles in the cast. I am hoping that I can match the color and cast this in bley. I want to make this available soon when I open my bricklink.
Update 13.02.02: I have been working on casting alot of items. Unfortunately my sucess has been hampered and I am getting one great cast to 2 bad (garbage) ones. I will update when I will open the store, it should be soon.
