Sorry for so many duplicate purchases being uploaded in such quick succession but a dearth of decent diecasts here in the U.K. at the moment means I have the time to frantically try and reduce my backlog to more manageable numbers! :-0
This is yet another very appealing debut maroon 2015 Chrysler 300 bought from Poundland back in January 2017 and at nearly half the price of ASDA represented much better value too! Mint and boxed.

That something does not come cheap.
Servicing intervals are at a very manageable 15,000km or 12 months, whichever comes first. Prices for the first five scheduled services (covering five years or 75,000km) run as follows: $345 (€ 225), $645 (€ 425), $465 (€ 305), $1295 (€ 850) and $345 (€ 225) for a total of $3095 (€ 2.050). Exy, for sure, especially when you consider BMW will service your new 320i for five years/80,000kms for a fixed $1440 (€ 950) over that period. But with the Giulia, Alfa Romeo has finally engineered a premium sedan ready to take on the Germans.
If I recall as of this date they are in the low 82000s in contract numbers, not 4304 volume but that's manageable at least!
After tying the herd together tightly into a manageable line, a Mongolian boy milk a goat by hand. Despite the unplanned urbanisation of capital city and the expanding mining industry, many Mongolians still practise nomadic pastoralism. In a land where water is not always available, milk has long been a significant part of diet for Mongolians and is used to make different products like suutei tsai and airag.
I have been digging through my maps of the nearby North Carolina mountains for our October backpacking trip, and this is my proposed route.
Update: 10.4.2009 - Trey and I day hiked this loop to determine its possibility as a group backpacking trip. This trip would make a great overnight trip with some caveats mentioned above in the notes. We didn't really see many camping spots where I placed the Camp icon, but then again we didn't make it across the river for almost a half mile. There are some spots in the middle of the river section, so it might be better to start from the Table Rock parking lot as mejones mentioned.
Toddler Tangled Rapunzel Doll -- 16'' (2010)
Disney Animators' Collection Rapunzel Doll - 16'' (2011)
Disney Animators' Collection Rapunzel Doll - 16'' (2013)
Side by side comparison of the original 2010 Rapunzel Toddler Doll versus the 2011 Rapunzel Animator Doll and the newly released 2013 Rapunzel Animator Doll. They are all 16'' H dolls depicting Rapunzel as a toddler, and were co-designed Glen Keane. The two Animator dolls have the same head and body, and their faces and hair are almost identical, and their outfits are very similar. The 2010 doll has a similar head, body and face, but considerably different hair and outfit. Following is a detailed comparative review of the three dolls.
Body: They are all 16'' tall. The body of the 2011 and 2013 Animator Rapunzel dolls are identical, but the body of the original 2010 Toddler Rapunzel doll is a bit different. The skin of the 2010 doll is less shiny in her face. The skin from the neck down is shinier than the Animator dolls. The skin tone is paler in the face and body than the Animator dolls. Her body and limbs are thinner than the Animator dolls, and doesn't have such a pronounced protruding belly. Her neck joint allows swiveling of her head 360 degrees about a single plane, which is tilted about 15 degrees from the horizontal. Therefore when she is facing forward, her head is tilted downward. The newer dolls have a partial ball joint in their neck, so their head can not only swivel around 360 degrees, but can also tilt down about 30 degrees, making for a much wider range of head poses. Their hip joints are very similar, allowing 360 degree rotation about a plane about 45 degrees tilted from the vertical. Therefore they both have to sit with their legs splayed out towards their sides. I prefer the body of the Animator Rapunzel dolls over the Toddler Rapunzel, as they are sturdier and have more freedom of movement in the head.
Face and head: Their head molds are very similar, if not identical. The 2010 doll's eyes are a darker green, and the division lines in the iris are thicker, but otherwise their eyes are almost identical in design. The rest of the 2010 doll's face paint is lighter in shade than the other dolls, including her skin color. Her face is also less shiny than the newer doll, although they both have matte surfaces.
The 2013 Animator Rapunzel doll has several subtle differences in the face paint from the 2011 version. Her skin is slightly less shiny. Her pink eye shadow is lighter in color. The outer boundary line of her iris is a much darker green. Her freckles are darker, but the rouge on her cheeks is fainter. The most noticeable difference is that her lips are now a purplish pink, rather than the dark pink of the 2011 model.
Hair: The hair on the dolls are all long straight blonde hair down to their feet, but they have several differences.
The 2010 doll has 17'' of hair that has iridescent tinsel highlights. The tinsel makes her hair more movie accurate, but also less soft and manageable than the hair on the Animator dolls. My second hand doll was braided by the previous owner, and flowers put in her hair, that was not in the original doll, so the apparent length of her hair was reduced so it now just barely reaches the floor.
The 2011 Animator doll has 17'' of hair, that is straight and smooth, but had a considerable amount of tangles right out of the box. So it took quite a bit of time and patience to comb out all the tangles after I took out all the rubber bands from her hair. The hair is a slightly darker shade of blonde than the 2010 doll, and is shinier and smoother. I have put it into a pony tail to lessen possibility of tangling. Since her hair is longer than her body, it drags on the ground, and can be wrapped around her feet.
The 2013 Animator doll has 16'' of hair, so it just barely reaches the ground. I have not yet removed the rubber band restraints from her hair, but it appears to be identical in quality to the 2011 doll, as well as being the same color. There is a bit of hair product over her forehead, and at the ends, which the 2011 doll did not have. Otherwise, her hair is soft and silky smooth.
I prefer the hair of the 2011 doll, as it silky smooth, shiny, very straight, and longer than the other dolls.
Outfits: The 2010 doll is in a lavender nightie, while the two Animator dolls have slightly different versions of her iconic pink dress.
The 2010 doll has a lavender satin and organza nightie that is based on the one worn by the toddler Rapunzel in the original Tangled movie. The bodice and lower layer of the skirt and sleeves are satin. The collar, outer layer of the sleeves and skirt are sheer organza. There is lace trim at the base of the bodice, and the cuffs of the sleeves are ruffled. There is a small ribbon and bow at the top of the collar, and a line drawing of flowers printed on the bodice. The gown is very pretty and very well made, and looks great on the doll. She has lavender painted on panties, matching the color of her dress.
The 2011 doll has a pink and purple satin gown that is base on Rapunzel's iconic pink dress. The bodice is pink satin with white lace trim, and light pink laces in corset pattern with a bow at the top. The puffy short sleeves are pink and lavender with elastic at the ends. The skirt is a dark purplish pink (magenta) satin, with white lace trim at the hemline. She has purple painted on panties matching the color of the skirt. The dress is very pretty and well made simplified version of the movie dress.
The 2013 doll has a variation of the 2011 dress. The bodice and sleeves are identical to the 2011 one. The skirt is now in three layers in the front. The main part is magenta satin that is slightly lighter in color than the 2011 skirt, and forms the single layer in the back. It becomes a peplum in the front, with a silver glitter floral decoration. Under that is a magenta organza overskirt. The peplum and overskirt have metallic thread in the hemline. Under the organza skirt is a light magenta polyester skirt. She has purple painted on panties, lighter in color than the 2011 doll, matching the color of the skirt. The dress is an enhanced and more movie accurate version of Rapunzel's pink dress than the 2011 one. There is glitter on the new dress, but it is well glued, and doesn't shed. I like both designs, but I like the simpler 2011 better, as I think it is better suited to a toddler.
Summary: I really like all these versions. The most precious doll is the 2010 one, with her paler skin, and downward angle of her head, makes her look even more shy than the other two dolls. Her nightie is very much like the one she actually wears as a toddler in the movie, so she is by far the most movie accurate doll of the three. She also has the tinsel highlights in her hair, but I actually prefer the hair of the other two dolls that are without the tinsel, as they are much more manageable. Of the two Animator Rapunzels, I like the 2011 one the best because of her longer hair, and simplier and better looking gown. The lack of glitter makes the gown softer and smoother, and looks better in my opinion.

Here’s my 12th Ever After High doll, Holly O’Hair, daughter of Rapunzel.
I was highly anticipating the O’Hairs when they were announced a couple of months ago. Now that I have them I’m just totally overjoyed! So far, Holly is my favorite since she’s more fairytale-ish compared to her sister. I really like her overall design and I think she’s really pretty.
She has the basic Ever After High head and, like most others, is painted a bit differently from the rest. The eye shape resembles a bit like Apple’s but it’s considerably bigger (almost twice as big). The mouth is larger too, and the artists really utilized most of the space on the sculpt’s lip shape. I can’t say that her faceup is the best that I’ve seen…but it’s not that bad either.
The hair quality is really good, but it has some flaws. Most of the hair is really luscious and smooth…but the ends are a bit frizzy. It also had a lot knots and I had to, sadly, cut some of the knotted strands off. It has been a common practice for most EAH collectors to boil-wash Holly’s hair to get rid of the frizz; however I chose not to do that. I didn’t want to lose the texture and waviness of the hair. It’s messy but beautiful. Also, the ginger/auburn color is simply luxurious. And I’m not really bothered that the length isn't 'Rapunzel-long' (unlike some people) since it’s already explained that the character’s hair grows like crazy in the diaries, so she has to keep cutting it at a more manageable length (seriously, how can you go around a high school with 70 feet of hair? It’s crazy and just impractical). It’s still pretty long to me though. It’s not every day you can find a doll with ankle-length hair, after all. Her hair is a lot of fun, though and I enjoy playing with it!
The outfit is really amazing, in my opinion. I like her color scheme: reddish pink and purple—it sort of reminds me of the colors on the Ever After High logo. I don’t know if that was intentional, but it’s a really nice touch. The dress is lovely! I love how the designers designed it into a fairytale-themed take on the mullet dress. I love the printed detail on it, all the florals and the bits that looks like strands of hair. I wish they chose a different type of fabric for the skirt though, to make it more flowy and breezy. It’s a mullet skirt after all, and satin is such stiff fabric for it. The vest is really nice; I like the black braided trim on it and the color is simply divine. I like most of the accessories that she has…the bag, the shoes, the ring, the belt and the bracelets (she has two bracelets, oh my!). The tiara is her best accessory in my opinion. I just love how it looks like a bunch of crystallized flowers on her head! Nice, very nice. I love her necklace, too. I know chunky necklaces are so 2013, but still it looks quite good on her. I just wish her stockings were a different color though. It’s too dark for her otherwise pastel-colored outfit. A nice shade of brown, tan or cream would have been a lot nicer.
So far the only thing that I really hate about her is her earrings. They’re—how can I put this nicely—really tacky! Hairbrushes, really? I know that she’s the next Rapunzel, but hairbrush-themed earrings are just too much, even for her. Plus I think it clashes with the rest of her outfit because none of her other accessories are hairbrush-themed (everything else is floral and tower-themed). Sorry to say it, but I just think they look awfully distracting. I removed them after this shoot and she actually looks better without them in my opinion.
Overall she’s such a pretty doll. I really love the way she looks, her overall design and the long, elegant hair. She’s a real beauty and I absolutely love mingling her among my other Ever After High dolls.

Saturday before the potluck Andy & I ventured to Patel Brothers in Chicago to buy chappati flour for the aloo paratha I was making. We bought this 20 lb bag (the smallest quantity they had) before seeing a much more manageable 4 pound bag at Fresh Markets, another nearby east asian market.
Had a little mixr with some friends at Laguna Beach today. It was a much smaller group than we're use to having at our Laguna mixrs, but it was nice. A lot less hectic than it usually is. The weather was nice. It was overcast and a tad on the colder side, but it was manageable.

We were looking forward to a good hike with mild temperatures and little wind. The winds were much higher than predicted, but manageable. There was much less snow than we would have thought, considering we've above average snowfalls for this year. While the wind was annoying, the fact that wet snow would often clump to our boots was very frustrating... With all the ups and downs, we gained just over 800 m's on this very undulating 10.3 km return distance hike, but took 6 and a half hours to complete. The loveliest surprise was herd of Rocky Mountain Sheep near the true summit.
The Fomopan 100 and the Pyrocat HD works very well together. Not too contrasty and the grain is manageable. The old 35mm f2.5 Nikkor also shows how good that lens is. It rivals the 1st generation Summicron of the same vintage. Virtually no flare - and sharp - though most lenses performs well stopped down to about f11 as in this case.
Lineup of four of the original 2011 Disney Animators' Collection 16'' Dolls (in the back row) vs the 2013 versions (in the front row). They are in alphabetical order within each row.
Front row (2013): Belle, Merida, Rapunzel and Snow White.
Back row (2011): Belle, Merida, Rapunzel and Snow White.
The most improved dolls over the original Animator dolls are Snow White and Merida, due to their much more manageable hair. I also love Snow White's new outfit, although the old outfit was more movie accurate. The hair on Belle and Rapunzel isn't quite as good as on the original dolls, and their outfits are a little lower in quality. Also Rapunzel's outfit is a bit too similar to the old design, whereas the other three dolls have quite different outfits. I'm glad that the glitter is quite well glued to the outfits, except for Merida's sprayed on glitter, which does shed a bit.
Note: Please refer to the side by side comparisons of the different dolls in this group for detailed comparative reviews of the dolls.
Jenny at the entrance/exit to the Cheese Cave. The rockfall was quite icy but manageable if you were careful, with three points of contact. As you went further into the cave it is warmer and the floor relatively flat with just a few areas of rockfall to scramble over.

I had the pleasure of attending the Carnevale in Venice in February 2011 - what a great experience! This was about my 4th or 5th Carnevale and they keep getting better. Many of the masked characters recognized me from prior years and gave me great access for photos. I also had the chance to shoot with many others; some in masks and costumes, some face paintees, and some faces in the crowd - great fun. Because of the large number of photos I took during the Carnevale I will use a separate set for each day to make it manageable. These photos are from my first day there, Sunday, 27 February 2011.
December Daily is an album that documents the month of December leading up to Christmas day (and sometimes beyond – that’s completely up to you). It is a chance to reflect, to share, to celebrate the season in a manageable, in-the-moment way. The key is to assemble the album BEFORE December, so it's ready to go. This is my fourth year doing one, and I have really loved it. December is such a fun and joyful month, but so often, as soon as Christmas is over, I'm wondering how we got so busy and how the month flew by so quickly. This is just a fun way of journaling each day.
I've had quite a few people ask me about my process for my mosaic installations, so I'm posting this photo. It shows the completed mosaic, on mesh, cut into sections. I cut it into three manageable sections, cutting the mesh and plastic in between the tesserae.
Thanks to our 13 inches of snowfall, the roads were off limits for a few days but are finally manageable now! Katie braved the roads and met up with me for a snow shoot. I found this neat little wooded area near my house and it was so perfect...just snow and trees :)

I took a picture of it before throwing it into the garbage. Unlike Intercity, Simpson Street's litter is low in quantity and manageable, and being in my own neighbourhood, I wasn't at risk of missing a bus and having to waste an hour going to Port Arthur to get home.

This kit is based on a Tamrac Pro 12 camera bag. It's a fairly manageable size measuring 10" H x 15" W x 8" D. Weight is not to bad either coming in just shy of 10lbs. Kit bags can be real pigs to hump around the set, so the trick is to get the most crap into the least amount of space and weight. The golden rule when choosing a bag, don't cheap out. This thing is going to take a ton of abuse so it has to be tough.
Delayed treatment for addiction has the potential to detour lives onto innumerable self-destructive paths. However, recognizing or accepting the fact that drug use is no longer manageable is often the challenge most substance abusers face. Drug Treatment Centers Shreveport are aware of the myriad excuses that people in addiction use to delay the fact that they need help. They also recognize the dangers that lay ahead for those who put off entering a drug treatment center for too long.

It looked to be a good day for a hike in the foothills east of the Rocky Mountains, except for some wind. Snow was patchy on the trail in the lower reaches, but still manageable with just our boots. Once past the junction with Prairie Link Trail, we had to don our spikes to continue. A kilometre from the summit, however, the ridge had been swept free of snow, and we were back with just our boots without spikes. The same winds that kept the snow off the ridge top returned to pester and annoy us, cooling us down. We walked just over 18 km's, gaining just over 800 m's, and taking 5 1/4 hours to so.
