Zurzeit fährt der Basler IRE - baubedingt nur bis Ravensburg - mit einem 3 Wagen Park aus Altdostos und einer V-Lok, meistens vormittags eine 245 und nachmittags eine 218. Letzte Woche war die 218 417 mit dem Zug betraut und konnte im herrlichen Abendlicht bei Erbach fotografiert werden.

Mal schauen wie viele Marillen wir von unserem kleinen Bäumchen heuer schon ernten werden...

A number of boats have eyes painted on the bow of a boat. As old traditions go fisherman believed that the eyes of their Gods would protect them and bring them safely home.

Sherman is our smallest Ragdoll cat and he is a bicolor pattern which gives him his mask. He just loves to play and if we don't keep his nails trimmed we get scratched. But being the smallest, he gets a bit more attention and is very well loved!

I had to laugh when I posted this, I hadn't changed the settings on the camera and the ISO was floating, right up to 16,000! That's just insane! I'm glad it was my 1DX or it would not be worth sharing!

La Valletta es la capital de la nación isleña de Malta, situada en el Mediterráneo. La ciudad amurallada se construyó en el siglo XVI en una península por la orden católica de los Caballeros de San Juan. Es famosa por sus museos, palacios e iglesias monumentales. Entre sus lugares de interés de estilo barroco destaca la Catedral de San Juan.

El niño que miraba el mar - Luis E. Aute

El título hace referencia a esa obsesión que tengo yo con los amaneceres y que debe tener algo que ver con el monstruo perverso que todos llevamos dentro al que hace alusión Aute en la canción que he enlazado, que a su vez rinde homenaje al Conde de Lautréamont y a su obra "Los cantos de Maldoror", cuyo personaje principal es el basilisco "Mal d'Aurore".
