A new wig for Tiffany Taylor! It's a bit too much Shirley Temple but it is stylable. Before I glue it on I'm going to try bleaching some of the orange out of her skin. These doll companies must have used the cheapest plastics and vinyls they could find!
Vintage plastic or vinyl 18" fashion dolls, Tiffany Taylor, Ideal, 1975. This doll did have a rotating scalp with white-blonde hair on one side and black hair with bangs on the other. Groovy embroidered bell bottoms with fringed hem made by me. Tank top is cut from 99¢ store knit cap. In my collection. Feb. 2011.

I took a "beautiful to me" vintage pine cabinet, and gave it a upscale makeover - here's the after.
- It was given a coat of black paint
- Then a coat of antique white
- Sanded to reveal some black paint
- Rubbed with antique glaze for the "feel" I was after
