Beaumont's 4th annual Mural Festival, sponsored by the Beaumont CVB, was held in March.
Both the inside and outside of the Civic Center received new murals, as did an office supply company just north of the downtown area.
In addition, there were temporary wooden cubes set up on the grounds between the Civic Center, main library, and the Julie Rogers Theatre to showcase the talent of local artists.

Founded in 1983, The Art Studio, Inc, is one of the driving forces of the arts scene here in Beaumont. In addition to hosting exhibits or works from (mostly) local and regional artists, they offer classes, do community outreach, and rent affordable studio spaces to artists.
The former Plowden Supply Co. warehouse is TASI's third home. After outgrowing its original building, it moved to the former White House Department Store building (that now houses the Beaumont Municipal Court) for several years. After plans to purchase that building fell through, it moved into this building in 1995(ish).

After my ramble down College Street and back to the car, I decided to check out another mural that was painted during the 2024 Mural Festival.

It's already summer here in SETX. According to my car, it was 91 F when we started out on our jaunt. Because of that, we didn't do much walking. The murals were all just a case of "hop out of the car and sit her long enough for me to take your picture", and the two sculptures and the dumpster weren't even a quarter mile of walking.

One really unique thing about this mural is that it is painted on two different levels, with the top part being about 20 feet or so back from the bottom part. It creates the optical illusion of the two parts sliding back and forth along each other as you move from one vantage point to another, but lining up perfectly if you stand in just the right spot.
