The 5th Annual Beaumont Mural Festival was held March 21st and 22nd. I went on the 21st, to the main area of the Civic Center and Riverfront Park, as well as a couple of the other locations that murals were being painted.
My final stop was at the site of a proposed cocktail bar. The building was still under renovation, and the business hadn't yet opened when the murals were painted.

I don't known when or why the business closed down, and I also don't remember when the murals were painted.

The weekend following the Mural Festival, I went back to Riverfront Park to take pictures of the completed mural cubes and panels. Since it was a nice day, there were people out boating and (I'm guessing) picnicking.

The "Greetings From Beaumont" mural is painted on the side of the Old Towne Plaza shopping center, which was built in 1958. It includes several vignettes of Beaumont things, including the Spindletop Derrick at the Gladys City Boomtown Museum, The World's Largest Working Fire Hydrant, and the boardwalk at Cattail Marsh.
