**taking pics for my friend Val's website has introduced me to many new people. The make-up artist that has been working with us is also trying to launch her own website - so we've been working together to take shots for that. I get more practice and she gets pics for her site. It's been a great learning experience.
The model's name is Ginger, she was cast from Craiglist. We shot at Dre's apt. - she cleared out her room and hung sheets as a backdrop. In this shot I was using a SB800 on the camera, had an SB-28 mounted on a stand camera right, and another SB-28 with a pink gel behind the model under the backdrop.
I got the idea for gelling the flash from browsing the Strobist group.
