Morning light shines on the upper reaches of the South St Vrain drainage. The peaks include (l to r) the knob of Navajo Peak, Apache Peak, and Shoshoni Peak. A steady wind blowing off these peaks which make up the Continental Divide rolls across Lake Isabel in the lower left.
Each of the 1,000 columns that make up the colonnade surrounding [and including] the inner courtyard is inlaid with semi-precious stone flowers.

Akanin’ny Nofy/Nest Of Dreams a/k/a Palmarium Reserve
The black lemur (Eulemur macaco) is a species of lemur from the family Lemuridae. Like all lemurs, it is endemic to Madagascar. Elevated to species status by Mittermeier et al. in 2008, Eulemur macaco, the black lemur, has brown or orange eyes, and ear tufts.
It lives in northwest Madagascar. The black lemur occurs in moist forests in the Sambirano region of Madagascar and on nearby islands.
The black lemur primarily eats fruit, which makes up an estimated 78% of its diet. The ripeness of this fruit is vital to the lemur's diet. Other foods eaten include flowers, leaves, fungi, some invertebrates and, especially during the dry season, nectar.
The black lemur lives in both primary and secondary forest. It is active both during the day and at night. It forages in both the upper and middle canopy, especially at night, and during the day it also forages in the understory. In degraded habitats, it also forages on the ground and may even eat soil. There are so many beautiful vistas in Southern Utah.
To take this image the camera and tripod is set up and do not move for about four hours. This image is a stack/blend. A stack blend simply put is taking the same image over a period of time. The points of light that make up the image remain the same. Yet the lighting changes as the moon is up, to the moon setting, to the moon light is below the horizon. The images of moonlight are used for the land. then the later images for the stars are used for the sky.

This is a type of Cuckoo that lives in Southeast Asia. They have a varied diet of small lizards, frogs, crabs, and even baby birds. Insects make up a good portion of their diet as well. Unlike many Old World cuckoos they build their own nest and raise their young.

This was the most intense aurora I’ve ever seen. With a jaw-dropping corona above, dancing curtains, rotating vortices and lightning-like events extending all the way to each horizon, nearly every square inch of the sky – for a full 360 degrees – was filled with color. This was taken about 150 miles north of the arctic circle, during a geomagnetic storm that registered a Kp=6. Moments like this quickly make up for weeks in the unbearable cold.

Waiting for the Dublin bus after shopping on a sunny day, sitting in between the pillars of Shamrock Chambers, she turns an ordinary pause into a moment of clever multitasking, using the front-facing camera as a make-up mirror.
With practiced grace, she applies a touch of lipstick, transforming a few idle minutes into a polished look that carries her confidently and beautiful through the day.

E sẽ cố găng hết sức mình có thể kg có gì mình k thể làm đk ?? Cs này chuyện gì e cũn từng trãi qa lúc nào e cũng mong chuyện đời điều trôi thật nhanh nhưng khi bên a e lại muốn nó ngừng lại ... Bây giờ c.súc of e k thật tí nào lúc thi rất rất hp lúc thì qá tồi tệ đến nổi e f~ chịu thua .. Sau những chuyện bùn e cũn rút ra đc nhiều bài học là kg ngừoi e vẫn sống vẫn h/p v6ãn biết phấn đấu biết tự wuyêt đinh buớc típ of mình là gì ... E lớn r s =))

Her face was white, her lips was red with a black draw under them. The make-up was not really well done. She was dancing near a phone store. She had a strange costume for his performance. The old lady seemed to be in his own world . I stand nearby for a while, before talking. When I finaly asked her to be shooted, she agreed with joy (after having begged money).
She told me about her life and her art. She used to be jazz dancer and mime (she was a student of Marcel Marceau) in New-York a long time ago.
On the picture, you can't here her voice : sweet and gentle. Before leaving, I kissed her on the cheek for the wonderful moment.
Something a little different this time.Make-up of artists before a Kathakali performance in Kochi.
Kathakali is a traditional form of Indian classical dance and one of the oldest theatre forms still practised.It is a "story game" genre of art , distinguished by the elaborately colourful make-up and costumes of the traditionally male actor-dancers.It is native to and almost entirely practised by the people of Kerala, the state at the south-western tip of India.
The roots of Kathakali can be traced back to at least the 1st millenium CE.
The term Kathakali is derived from the words "katha" meaning story or conversation and "kali" which means performance or play.The traditional themes are folk stories,religious legends and ideas from the Hindu epics and Puranas.Like all classical dances of India, a Kathtakali performance synthesizes music, vocalists, choreography and hand and facial gestures which express ideas and emotions.
A Kathakali repertoire is an operatic performance involving actor-dancers in the front supported by musicians and vocalists.Typically all roles (even the female ones) are played by male actor-dancers.
Traditionally a kathakali performance is long ,starting at dusk and continuing through dawn with breaks for the artists. Modern performances are shorter. The stage is mostly bare with only a few drama related items.The front of the stage is adorned with a huge brass lamp (kalivilakku) with its thick wick sunk in coconut oil.When there was no electricity this lamp provided the light for the night performances when the actor-dancers would gather around it.
Of all the classical dances, Kathakali has the most elaborate make-up and costumes consisting of head dresses, vividly painted faces and masks.It typically takes hours to prepare a kathakali troupe for a play.
The make-up follows an accepted code that helps the audience identify with the characters.The colours which are made from natural ingredients are used denote different characters.For eg.The colour Pacha (green) with brillint coral lips potrays a noble character ,Thaadi (red) denotes an evil streak, Kari (black) is the code for forest dwellers, hunters, demons etc.
The actors speak a sign language where the word part of the dialogues is expressed through hand gestures ( mudras) while emotions and moods are expressed through facial and eye movements.
On our recent trip to Kerala we saw a Kathakali performance in Kochi. We were also allowed to see the make-up being put on.It was a mesmerizing performance.
