April mail delivery in Maine!

I ❤️ Mainers!

This mail truck is part of the airmail exhibit at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. Airmail demand played a part in new innovations for aircraft. This Ford Model T was built circa 1925. #USMail #mailtruck #Ford #ModelT #Seattle #MuseumOfFlight

This was an odd find... a bit of a moving target for the poor mailman I suppose! :)

'tis the season

. . . which is the reason

I barely have time to hop over here to flickr,

not to mention it's been freezin' . . .

Clem and Floyd were at the old one lane bridge watching the world go by. It had been a slow morning and they had both fallen asleep when they were woken by a powerful ruckus.

They were a bit disappointed that they had almost missed a good wreck that never happened. The fellow in the Hudson Terraplane had seen the Johnson's Wax House Car just in time to avoid becoming part of a paste wax calamity.

We used pretty much every piece of landscaping material in the set department for the series of shots at the bridge.

Clem and Floyd had a great time that day! They saw a traveling band go by and they even saw a famous masked man!

They never did get to that feed store in the background, which had been the mission when the morning began.

The Village Post Office is my first new MOC for over a year. A classic British Post Office set during the early 1930's. The model is not a modular building but features an open back design to give easy access to the interior details.

The model is now on LEGO IDEAS. f you like to vote for the model to be made in to a real set then please visit ideas.lego.com/projects/16ae1e95-cf30-41dd-ae23-36e07668df05

Thanks very much.

The Iconic Jeep grill is seen on this abandoned delivery truck on the Maryland Eastern Shore. The Jeep DJ was originally built in 1955 by Willys, called Kaiser Jeep beginning in 1963. American Motors (AMC) bought the Jeep line in 1970 and continued the DJ series until 1983. It was widely used as a delivery truck; the US Postal Service was the major purchaser. Although Jeep was a money-losing brand when purchased by AMC, it is today the most profitable product of AMC's successor, Fiat Chrysler.

I went out and met the mail delivery and ask the lady if I could take pictures of her truck and she agreed.. I started taking pictures before she could get out of the truck.. I didn't want her to change her mind.. LOL!! Happy Truck Thursday, Everybody!!!!!!!!

The lights on the mail truck were all lit up this morning when I was going to the gym. Lucky people in Trumansburg get their mail early in the morning. Ours generally come later in the day.

Truck Thursday

These little trucks are well used. I know when our mail man is in the neighbourhood, you can hear his truck coming a mile away.

i found this handsome mailman in the snow yesterday. he is as gentle and loving as his expression.

It was time to update this model too, especially the stickers and the back.
