I felt in love with this mailbox when I saw it, at once. It's so beautiful! You find it at the west coast of Norway, at a small place called Indre Fure. It's very nice there!

The mailbox was frozen over. There was a half-inch of ice holding our holiday bow stiff.

As I've said before, mailboxes are considered an art form in Tucson. As long as the requirements for height, set-back and ease of entry are followed, the local Postmaster doesn't enforce any of the other postal regulations.

I took this photo of the beautiful art deco mailbox in the downtown Suntrust Building lobby right before the building was closed for renovations. (It will reopen as a boutique hotel.) I sure hope this mailbox survives the renovation. [Durham NC 2014]
