I think it's funny how some mailboxes resemble faces. And when you also consider that mailboxes are very personal in most cases and often carry some very personal thoughts the comparison works even more for me. ...Btw. I kept all the blemishes on the mailboxes on purpose, since human faces aren't perfect either, right!?

In March 2025 I have only found 7 Red Mailboxes in a large area, this is in a small village in the country side, outside of a Church. The Red Mailboxes was very commen in the near past, you good find one or two on nearly every corner, many places with two Red Mailboxes side by side, Before the end of 2025 these Red Mailboxes wlll be history only, not to be seen in the streets, you can find more photos of Red Mailboxes at pixelfed.dk/c/916776292554763071

A quick look at a West Virginia Mailbox. It must have the proper size , angle and of course patina making each one unique and unforgettable! LOL
All mailboxes for the village residences stand lined up at the entrance to the village. Behind the row of mailboxes is a modest playground and baseball field which the residents used for recreation.

After the overall photo I decided to get closer with a tighter lens and focus on the mailbox trio on the corner. And I am glad I did, at least location number one was not a total bust ... #etbtsy

Thought It Was Nice To Keep A Record Of The Structures That Holds Mail Outdoor. I Like How The Boxes Was Created Next To Each Other Just For The Record. Took This One After I Received Permanent Fund Dividend That Was For Me But Not Mine. So All Clear After This Then Next Is Much Interesting To Follow. Enjoy Mail!
The motel where I am staying welcomes doggies so there are many beautiful varieties here. This is their mailbox.
