I hope I can enjoy this very slim mouse...
...this mouse is not really ergonomic...
...but from the functionality the best thing for my MacBook
The last remnants of Loughborough Fair preparing for the journey to their winter resting place. (Do mice hibernate?) The Magic Mouse arrived the day before the fair and is the last to depart on the Sunday following Saturday night closure. Still pretty impressively fast for a roller coaster.
The new mouse arrived tonight in the typical amazonian shipping carton filled with those usual air pack thingys and a second plain brown box, containing a foam sandwich, which in turn protected a plastic bag, itself enclosing the rigid clear plastic ovoid that finally contained the new mouse. Whew. I can't imagine that's how they're sold in the retail stores. I'd read about Amazon experimenting with simpler, more eco-friendly packaging. After all the package pickers in its giant warehouses don't need all those colorful graphics designed to pull shoppers' eyes down at the mall. But this doesn't strike me as simpler (cheaper) or more eco-friendly. Odd.
Another quick visit to the Level 25 Marco Pierre White Birmingham restaurant for the views from The Cube at the top.
Best to go I think before events or parties take place up there (and not during).
Mainly popped back up as Ice Skate Birmingham is being put up in Centenary Square outside The REP and Library of Birmingham.
Due to open on 1st November 2025, until early January 2026.
