I went out and got coffee at Little Zelda rather late. The owner was kind enough to give me a free Chocolate Croissant.
The coffee and pastry were what I needed to pull through an all-night design-a-thon.
Dont have my beloved pentax 50mm 1.4 smc m takumar :/ so the kit lens had to do. The light is coming from my imac monitor of a picture I put up a while ago of a leaf and I liked the colors it reflected on to my keyboard.

I hope I can enjoy this very slim mouse...
...this mouse is not really ergonomic...
...but from the functionality the best thing for my MacBook
The last remnants of Loughborough Fair preparing for the journey to their winter resting place. (Do mice hibernate?) The Magic Mouse arrived the day before the fair and is the last to depart on the Sunday following Saturday night closure. Still pretty impressively fast for a roller coaster.
The new mouse arrived tonight in the typical amazonian shipping carton filled with those usual air pack thingys and a second plain brown box, containing a foam sandwich, which in turn protected a plastic bag, itself enclosing the rigid clear plastic ovoid that finally contained the new mouse. Whew. I can't imagine that's how they're sold in the retail stores. I'd read about Amazon experimenting with simpler, more eco-friendly packaging. After all the package pickers in its giant warehouses don't need all those colorful graphics designed to pull shoppers' eyes down at the mall. But this doesn't strike me as simpler (cheaper) or more eco-friendly. Odd.
