Linda Sellick describes her Shawl like this.

This beautiful lace triangular shawl is worked from top to bottom. The easy to remember stitch pattern is suitable for novice as well as experienced knitters. There are only five purl rows in the entire shawl, making it a relatively fast knit.

Beads are vertically mounted and knitted in on the edge of the border.

This pattern has both written and charted instructions and includes a complete row count chart. The shawl can easily be made larger by simply working additional pattern repeats.

I was inspired to design this shawl after purchasing a lovely skein of variegated hand dyed yarn and the diagonal nature of the design showcases the colour changes beautifully. I have also knit this pattern using a solid shade of yarn with equally good results.

So I love the light, but I'm really unsure of the composition. I considered going square, but...well, what do you think?

no cropping, almost no pp and a lot of sa( l | n ) ( t | d ).

We happened upon the Louvre at the magic time of day when light is most beautiful. After the rainstorm, the light was especially beautiful. I love the reflection in this one, and the shadow from the Pyramids.

This is straight out of the camera, unretouched. More, it is exactly how I remember the light. Magic.

I rarely do this, but this one deserves to be seen large. Or maybe even the original.

Found some expired Kodak 400 that a lovely friend gave me, popped it into my trusty Canon AE-1 and I went to town on my neighbour's magnolia. 7 o'clock was the magic light hour.

An abstract of the thicket where many leaves, twigs, small branches, larger branches, and trees culminate into a gathering of nature like no other.

This is the perfect time of day to have shot this, the only thing that would have made it better is, if in a moment of serendipity there had been someone standing between the two closest columns.
