This was shot in early morning light. I was fascinated how a ray of light could cast a magic glow on this parsley. Bokeh by Pentax 35 mm f/2.

Linda Sellick describes her Shawl like this.

This beautiful lace triangular shawl is worked from top to bottom. The easy to remember stitch pattern is suitable for novice as well as experienced knitters. There are only five purl rows in the entire shawl, making it a relatively fast knit.

Beads are vertically mounted and knitted in on the edge of the border.

This pattern has both written and charted instructions and includes a complete row count chart. The shawl can easily be made larger by simply working additional pattern repeats.

I was inspired to design this shawl after purchasing a lovely skein of variegated hand dyed yarn and the diagonal nature of the design showcases the colour changes beautifully. I have also knit this pattern using a solid shade of yarn with equally good results.
