So I love the light, but I'm really unsure of the composition. I considered going square, but...well, what do you think?
We happened upon the Louvre at the magic time of day when light is most beautiful. After the rainstorm, the light was especially beautiful. I love the reflection in this one, and the shadow from the Pyramids.
This is straight out of the camera, unretouched. More, it is exactly how I remember the light. Magic.
I rarely do this, but this one deserves to be seen large. Or maybe even the original.

Linda Sellick describes her Shawl like this.
This beautiful lace triangular shawl is worked from top to bottom. The easy to remember stitch pattern is suitable for novice as well as experienced knitters. There are only five purl rows in the entire shawl, making it a relatively fast knit.
Beads are vertically mounted and knitted in on the edge of the border.
This pattern has both written and charted instructions and includes a complete row count chart. The shawl can easily be made larger by simply working additional pattern repeats.
I was inspired to design this shawl after purchasing a lovely skein of variegated hand dyed yarn and the diagonal nature of the design showcases the colour changes beautifully. I have also knit this pattern using a solid shade of yarn with equally good results.

Dark storm clouds & the sun peeking through just before sunset resulted in a few minutes of magical light at Woy Woy on the NSW Central Coast

An abstract of the thicket where many leaves, twigs, small branches, larger branches, and trees culminate into a gathering of nature like no other.

This is the perfect time of day to have shot this, the only thing that would have made it better is, if in a moment of serendipity there had been someone standing between the two closest columns.
Dans ce petit village jumelée avec une ville francaise ( GRAVELINES) tous les noms de rues sont dans les 2 langues :
ISLANDAIS / FRANCAIS.
....at least for this one afternoon...and I (of course!) ate it right up! The days when he asks me to take his pic are few and far between, so I take advantage when I can.
