Remarkable tree on my usual trail in the forest, A remarkable tree on my usual path, which exudes energy, serenity and a bit of magic. Maybe it shelters fees or other spirits of the forest.

The Grandkids loved playing inside a wonderful, big, old conifer at Wilson Park, Wentworth Falls.

Between Mathon and Galtür, in Austria, starts a path leading to the "Friedrichshafener Hütte”. About halfway the climb you pass this big tree. I used to call it a magic tree, but that's probably just me.....

We found the magical tree at the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, Delaware. It has to be magical because of the many different types of birds that show up there in this same tree. This female eastern bluebird lit in it, as did the baltimore oriole shown in comment 1, the common yellow-throat comment 2, male bluebird comment 3, female bluebird comment 4, and blue grosbeak comment 5.
Just came back from a fantastic trip to the island of Madeira with a pocket full of great material. Lets start with one of the most magic places of the island, the Fanal forest. We were so lucky to have this fog wich turns this place into pure magic!
Holidays are hard for us, but we're trying to do more this year and stay cheerful and lighthearted. Addition of Alyeska to our family has truly been a blessing this year as we remember all our departed loved ones.
