Datia - Birsingh Deo Palace.

The magnificent palace is a fine example of amalgation of Rajput an Mughal architecture of India. Is was built by Bundela chief Birsingh Deo of Datia in the year 1620 A.D. It is built purely in stone and bricks, no trace either of wood or iron is used here. It is square in plan having four octogonal towers, one at each corner and string corses of stone lattice work defining the five storeys. It is ormamented by numerous chhatris crowned with ribbed domes while many of its ceilings are finely carved from inside.

Gwalior - Jaivilas Palace.

The residential palace is now a museum of the Maratha rulers of Gwalior - the Scindias. The palace has noble collections of antiques. The palace was made in 1874 as an attempt to bring the palace of Versailles to Gwalior.

Interesting and well preserved sculpture of Brahma at Lakshmana temple in Khajuraho. A four-armed, crowned and bearded deity with his attributes. A book in the left upper hand (The Vedas), a water pot (Kamandala) in the lower hand, a rosary (a string of prayer beads called the 'akṣamālā' (literally "garland of eyes"), which He uses to keep track of the Universe's time) in the lower right and a not well identified object in the upper right hand (supposedly it should be a flower). The beard conveys wisdom and the long beard gives the idea that creation is a never-ending process.

Brahma is the creator of the universe and the first god of the Hindu Trinity, the other being Vishnu and Shiva. He is the generator of the mankind.

The skeletal figures in the sides are unique in Khajuraho, I couldn't find its meaning, they are not very sad anyway. A group of celestial musicians (gandharpas) animate the scene at the top.

Though almost all Hindu religious rites involve prayer to Brahmā, very few temples are dedicated to His worship. In this case the sculpture is located in a temple to Vishnu, the most worshiped deity.
