we spotted this beautiful female Leopard on a dry plateau in Panna Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh, India.
With no other vehicles in the area we were able to make a slow approach and to get fairly close.
Clearly she was very relaxed and we were able to observe her for nearly half an hour.

Scenes from the buffer zone around the Kanha Tiger Preserve in Madhya Pradesh India. Amazing to think that these folks live amongst tigers and leopards yet carry on as if it was nothing - I've travelled to some scary places around the world where wild critters were in charge but not sure how I would fare if it was part of my day to day life!
