The spag needs a trim. On this place the foreground has all of last years pitchers and the background pitchers are the new ones. This plant is a really good grower. :) Again, the owner feeds them top quality drugs.
This plant has died three times I think, so far. It recently died off and came back rather quickly and when I took a closer look, I saw little tiny pitchers formed and forming. :) That hairy pitcher you see in the middle of the screen is about 5mm long from top to bottom, methinks. Hence why I did not see them till I took a closer look.
I took this under shaded area. It was 10.16am, the rain finally stopped. Too bad the flower didn't get much of the rain.
I set up my camera close to a window, and made a little box background. Set the aperture to F32, and forced ISO 100.

Im experimenting with the macro capabilities of my Canon Power shot, a point n shoot camera which I was having second thoughts of buying because I was much more impressed with the Canon Power Shot G9, which I bought for my younger brother some couple of years ago.
Nowadays there is G11, which I might consider buying since it can also use some of my EOS accessories. My other cam is a Canon 50D, but at the moment I enjoy my point and shoot which is ready and handy, tucked neatly inside of my go-anywhere shoulder bag. Point and shoot cams are fun!
Before this experience, I didn't expect that dragonflies larva can be found everywhere where there is still or moving water or river. It was so surprising experience too, before that I was thinking that dragonflies larva can be found only around the river, surrounded by green bushes and with some perfect condition like a lake with algae. But no, they can be found everywhere where there is water. So here around my house, there are many farms and for farms, there are many water supplies and containers for water too. So on one beautiful foggy morning, I was out with my camera to shoot anything that catches my eyes and on that morning it was really cold. Then a moment later I came across one water container made out of bricks. And I don't know some of you may know that when it gets too much cold in the morning or any time but especially in the morning so then you can see the vapors coming out of the water. So to see that I stand there, looking inside & outside and also vapors were coming out of my mouth so I was enjoying that too😁. In between that my eyes show something, on the wall of the container, with its wings open..... I think the story...is getting a little long so I will continue on the next post😁. BTW I post on series, Birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, etc.😁
