This is a series of handheld, natural light, dragonfly photos at Fairchild Tropical Gardens to test out a new Tokina 100mm f/2.8 AT-X M100 AF Pro D Macro.

Luna moth's feathery feelers

Small fly on grass stem admiring a dewdrop. Taken at 3:1 uncropped not stacked.

Quite frequently see these little grass flies when I'm doing dewdrop refraction shots

the first bud just breaking on the flowerhead.

Hoverfly on camellia flower, feeding on sugar/honey syrup. Focus stacked using zerene

Fly macro taken at Newgale in Pembrokeshire. Taken with a Canon EOS 600D, 100mm Canon L Macro Lens, no tripod. I continue to be amazed by the detail seen in insects, close up they really are fascinating!

I haven't looked the species up yet.
