Reminds me of a barely roasted marshmallow. No post-production. Cream colored flower...and soft light.
So much orange and yellow here. Makes me think of the stamens going back into the flower...like a hiding squid.

What the mind conjures up!! I find it so cool that you see so many things in these drops :-)
Have a great weekend.
I promised, so here's the first photo of my new series called "Colors of Life" :)
These are three dandelion seeds in water with three little droplets on top of them. I mixed food coloring with water for different colors of the drops.
The seeds were standing in a black baking sheet.
Just minimal Photoshop was done!
I hope you like it! Two more photos are coming up the next days :)

Dew drops on blades of grass.
I love this image so much and I'm not saying this often because of my
perfectionism.
It's dedicated to a very special person:
If you were still alive, I would give all of my photos to you.
But I'm not able to do that anymore.

It's been so hot lately, I decided to shoot a few splashes where it was nice and cool in the basement.
The wild snake's head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) belongs to the lily family. These flowers feature a distinctive checkered pattern in deep red and purple and hang like small bells from their stems. Occasionally, a white variant, known as the Zwolse tulip, appears among the purple flowers.

This is the interior ring of a sunflower. My goal was show the texture at the end of each stamen as the primary focus of the shot. Normally, this can be done using a cooler light to draw out detail. But that would take away the rich color of the flower. So I used a few light sources in different locations running different color temps. Pretty happy with the result. Amazing what is found inside a sunflower. The geometry and detail is striking.
I rarely use Photoshop other than to adjust exposure in the RAW editor. No recoloring, painting, cloning, or anything else was used in this pic. The flower is beautiful and interesting enough to stand on its own.

Yesterday I went on a little tour for taking macro pictures and sunsets with my neutral density filter. It worked very well so you'll definitely get a sunset picture soon :D
I hope you like this photo - I tried something new as you can see ;)
It's always good to have a lamp in the darkness ;)

Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves :-) ! Have a nice Macro Monday!! :-D
Frozen water crystals on a window. I leave a spare room unheated in the hopes of getting some frost formations. I find it hard to get these. In order to get a dark background I need to have the camera on an angle and so lose dof that way. There is a bit of background from a tree and a house across the street and hopefully the frost is in the right place to make use of that. White on white just doesn't work.
I discovered this image on my external hard drive. I took it last year along with my "droplets on feathers" - series and I really don't know why I haven't publish it yet.
Hope you like it!
I'm very uncreative at the moment and didn't take any photo for almost a month now. I hate my ups and downs in being creative and productive in photography.
Therefore, honestly: I'm glad that I'm not doing this as a profession. Too much pressure for art and I don't like being an artist and someone who have to "produce" at the same time.

Instead I'm going to be a boring lawyer very soon :D
Haha, creative counterweight FTW! :D
Sorry for overtexting you, just don't read it :D
