I noticed this spider on the north side of my home and waited for sun and reduced wind to take its photo. Photo taken with old glass (90 mm Canon fd mount lens at f/11), 10 mm extension tube and manual focus.
Found this one on a dusty window. Jumping spiders are among my favourite macro subjects. They initially run away when you approach them, but they are curious enough to turn back for a good look, giving you the perfect pose.
Shoot details: Tamron 90mm, f/16 for depth of field. Lighting using a Vivitar 285 on camera left through a plastic bowl. Triggered using a Cactus trigger (E-Bay remote).

Post-processing: Curves adjustments, USM sharpening and de-saturation using Picture Window Pro.

No minibeasts were harmed in the taking of this photo! Definitely check out her lovely eyes on "large".....
I found this spider in the garden shed. The picture was created from a focus stack of 103 photos taken with a Schneider f2.8 40mm APO lens reverse mounted and using a flash.
