This beauty was alternating perches beyween logs in a log pile and a small sapling/shrub next to the log pile at side of sand/gravel road.

This hoverfly was having a great time collecting pollen. He was so engrossed that he actually sat in one spot for a few seconds.

Lots of dragonflies around today, it was sunny and warm and light winds (hooray!) on a walk this afternoon with Evie. One dragonfly landed on my shoulder, I could feel the wings brush my face :)
I needed to get out & about, I seem to be taking less photos than I used to.
