So busy eating gave me possibility to come pretty close. Again, taken in my garden, using Sigma 70mm f/2,8 EX DG Macro.
This is a portrait of a Callimation venustum, a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, typically characterized by extremely long antennae, which are often as long as or longer than the beetle's body. Callimation venustum is known from Madagascar. This photo is a stacking of 42 exposures, taken using an automatic focus stacking rail in my macro studio. I used a microscope 4x plan achromatic infinity lens with raynox dcr 150 lens on extension tubes
This is a portrait of a Sagra longicollis, a beetle belonging to the family Chrysomelidae. All the insects belonging to the genus Sagra are characterized by a metallic livery with shades of red, yellow, green, purple, pink and blue which vary according to the sun's rays. The species are commonly referred to as frog-legged beetles or kangaroo bettles, cause of their last pair of legs, much bigger than the others. This photo is a stacking of 50 exposures, taken using an automatic focus stacking rail in my macro studio. I used a microscope 4x plan achromatic infinity lens with raynox dcr 150 lens on extension tubes

Thank you all for taking the time to view, like and comment on our photography, we appreciate the support very much.
The bicycle has been retired and hanging in the basement for the past 5 years. Too small for my long legs, it will remain for many years to come.
This insect, which at first sight is reminiscent of a bee, is actually a hoverfly. Several elements make it possible to identify it in a certain way: firstly the ribs of the wings which show some specific peculiarities (loop R4 + 5) to hoverflies, then the antennas, the face and other details.
