The clothes moth (Tineola bisselliella) is a butterfly (moth) from the family of real moths (Tineidae) with worldwide distribution. Depending on the color of the food, the wings of the approximately six to nine millimeters large moths are bright yellow to dark brown, shiny, ciliate, have no markings and are folded like a roof over their backs. The wingspan is about 10 to 15 millimeters.

We all know this as the common Dandelion weed (Taraxacum Erythrospermum) that is seen almost everywhere. When you take a closer look, the detail and lightness is admirable.
Being self-pollinating plants, the composite flower often turns into the signature, fluffy white seed head within a few days. These seeds fly along with prevailing winds using their umbrella-like hairs.

Chilean Lantern Tree (Crinodendron Hookerianum)
Have this tree growing in relative shade. Must be getting on for 10 years old or more. Once in a while it gets pruned to promote new growth. If left alone it would be quite tall and wide, I have it around 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide.
C. hookerianum is a dense, hardy medium-sized evergreen shrub to 6m, with rigid, narrow, dark green leaves and fleshy, lantern-shaped, crimson flowers 2.5cm in length from late spring to late summer.

English Daisy (Bellis Perennis). To be honest I never knew it was a daisy until I used Google Lens to check it out. There's me thinking there is only one type of Daisy, when of course, that's the collective term. The green fingers out there will have a wry smile on their faces.

Recently visited Oldmoor Wood, Nottinghamshire. Oldmoor Wood is a woodland in Nottinghamshire, near the village of Strelley. It covers a total area of 15.11 hectares. It is owned and managed by The Woodland Trust.
I went primarily for the beautiful Bluebells. There is a mix of Native and Spanish Bluebells.
Native Bluebells are protected in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act, 1981.
How to tell the difference.
English Bluebells: Flowers on one side of the stem.
Spanish Bluebells: Flowers all around the stem.

Spotted this little guy on our hose pipe stand.
He was tiny, smaller than a pea but with a macro lens he suddenly becomes more than just a tiny jumping spider. He has eyes, and hairs and all this detail you wouldn't normally be able to see! 💜
Does anyone know if this a certain kind of jumping spider? 🤔
Would love to know it's name if it has one 👍

I love taking photos of rain droplets on little moss plants, or other tiny plants. You never know what the camera will reflect and magnify, and I do enjoy opening the pictures in the computer to see what's there. Often the detail has been so tiny, I've been unable to see it with my eyes.
My garden. A crimson Peony (Paeonia) bud begins to break open :)
Best viewed full screen. Looks far better on a PC/Laptop monitor.

These Allium Siculums are beginning to unfurl in my garden. They need a thin garden cane to help support them at this stage.
Nectaroscordum (Allium).
Alliums are part of the onion family. They bloom with bell-shaped flowers offering reddish-purple markings as you can see. Known as the Honey Garlic, Sicilian Honey Lily, Sicilian Honey Garlic, or Mediterranean Bells, is a European and Turkish species of plants genus Allium. It is native to the regions around the Mediterranean and Black Seas, and grown in other regions as an ornamental and as a culinary herb.
