Quilmet August 2010

Macro shot of a Locust. Taken using a Canon L Series 100mm Macro lens on a EOS 600d. This shot was taken in a makeshift studio. Used a tripod.

 

My girlfriend rescued the Locust (later named Haf) from my brother who was going to feed poor Haf to a Tarantula!

Freelensing!

My first time trying it, I can honestly say that it is difficult trying to hold everything and focus but it's really rewarding and fun. Macbooks on your knees make greeaat tripods!

 

Taken in my house on one of my plants.

Just peeking out, I'm practicing with the macro lens.

Some more jellyfish from my trip to the aquarium. They remind me of invading alien spaceships. I think these were colored medusa from Australia. Busan Aquarium, South Korea.
