One of the fantastic butterflies seen earlier this month in Mallorca. Sadly missed the one I wanted to see - the Swallowtail, but there is always next year!
Me gusto mucho este "macro", desde que lo vi en la pantalla, dicen que el amarillo trae a la suerte, yo no creo en la suerte, pero podemos probar una vez.
Es el centro de la flor, con esa combinación de colores, su órgano reproductor y mojada con una lluvia de estas que vienen con los monzones.
A mi me gusto mucho, te gusta ??!!!
I liked this much "macro", since I saw him on screen, say the yellow brings luck, I do not believe in luck, but we can try once.

Ok, so, this is what I put on the front of my camera to take really really close up photos of bugs. I have another shot in my photostream showing the full camera set up but I thought I'd just break the lens down so if anyone isn't sure exactly what's going on here this should make it pretty clear. Please see the comment below for details.
Resumiendo, los escarabajos pueblan todos los hábitats de la superficie terrestre que reunan unas mínimas condiciones para subsistir : bosques, praderas , montañas , pantanos, playas ,desiertos , estepas , selvas tropicales, aguas estancadas y en movimiento ( excepto Mar abierto ), también cerca del hombre : casas , bodegas , graneros y establos , despensas y depósitos, almacenes textiles , medicamentos , jardines y cultivos agrícolas.También conviven con otros animales en nidos de hormigas , madrigueras de mamíferos ,nidos de aves etc... hasta en el pelaje y plumas de animales así como en sus cadáveres y excrementos , materia orgánica en descomposición etc............ Como veis son supervivientes natos !!.
Según la distribución que ocupan se distinguen estas 6 regiones zoogeográficas:
1. Región Paleártica : zona templada de Eurasia desde el Atlántico hasta el Pacífico. Incluye Japón , Norte de Africa y parte de la Península Arábiga.
2. Región Neártica : USA ,Sur de Canada y México.
3. Región Neotropical : América Central y del sur.
4. Región Africana ó Etiópica : Al Sur del Sáhara y Arabia.
5. Región Indomalaya : India , Ceilán , Sur de China , Indochina e Indonesia.
6. Región Australiana : Australia , Nueva Celanda , Tasmania y Oceanía. (MAPA)
La fauna Ibérica de coleópteros pertenece a la subregión Mediterranea dentro de la región Paleártica .Existen pocas especies que tengan una distribución muy amplia y ocupen casi todo el planeta . Son las llamadas especies cosmopolitas,ayudadas en su expansión por el hombre a través del comercio y el tráfico ( p.ej el escarabajo de la patata ).
Los adultos aparecen en primavera y verano en su mayoría , los hay que pasan el invierno con sus funciones vitales reducidas al mínimo ( hibernación ) escondidos y protegidos en guaridas bajo troncos , piedras ,etc... .Según el origen del alimento los podemos clasificar en
Adéfagos y Polífagos . Los primeros van en busca de sus presas y son carnívoros , normalmente cazan presas vivas aunque a veces aceptan carne de animales ya muertos o incluso hay algunos carábidos que toman jugos de fruta madura . Los polífagos normalmente comen alimento de origen vegetal fresco como tejidos de hojas , tubérculos y raices , frutos , partes de la flor etc...pero la alimentación es muy variada : hay especies que viven a costa de excrementos , cadáveres , hongos y restos vegetales descompuestos , hasta se han adaptado a nuevos alimentos como las maderas secas trabajadas por el hombre ( muebles , cascos de barco...), medicamentos y alimentos envasados( harina, té , menta ...) o comen cuero , telas , grano almacenado y hasta nuestras colecciones de insectos !! .
Nothing special here, it's just my first few shots testing out the ebay bargain macro lens that arrived today!
This is my second macro shot posted. Previously I had tried a reversing ring but the depth of field was ridiculously small but now got a Tamron 90mm secondhand lens to play around with. Not much easy as the dof is still really small. Will try focus stacking too at some point.
Macro is a lot harder than it looks so took a while to get a shot I was happy with but know i have still plenty of room for improvement.
I can't even remember the type of flower and its on the tip of my tongue..

Wood violet, sweet violet, common violet or garden violet (Viola odorata) is a species of flowering plant in the viola family, native to Europe and Asia. It has been introduced into North America and Australia. It blooms from March to April. Jeden z fiołków kwitnących w parku, widziany z bliska :)
Fiołek wonny, fiołek pachnący (Viola odorata) – gatunek rośliny należący do rodziny fiołkowatych. Występuje w stanie dzikim w Europie, w zachodniej Azji i północnej Afryce. W Polsce pospolity na niżu i w niższych położeniach górskich. Uprawiany i często dziczejący. Kwitnie od marca do kwietnia. Zasiedla widne lasy liściaste i ich skraje, zarośla, trawiaste polany, trawniki. Rośnie na stanowiskach półcienistych lub cienistych, na glebie próchniczej, lekko wilgotnej. Jest rośliną leczniczą. Działa wykrztuśnie, napotnie, moczopędnie, odkażająco, żółciopędnie i rozkurczowo. Upłynnia zalegający śluz w drogach oddechowych. Kwiaty fiołka dawniej kandyzowano, produkowano z nich syrop na kaszel oraz używano ich do aromatyzowania octu. Uprawiany jako roślina ozdobna ze względu na swój bardzo przyjemny zapach oraz piękne kwiaty.
Krokus, net achter mijn tuinhek, in het gepikte stukje gemeentegrond. ;-) Jaren geleden samen met de stratenmakers, wat tegels rechtop gezet, daar aarde ingedaan, met veel moeite groeit en bloeit er nu wat.
This past Friday I received the new Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 lens (Marco) to add to my gear of Sony FE lenses. Each day this week I will posting different images where I used this lens on both the Sony A7R and A7M2.
Captured this Bee on one of the flowers located on the grounds of Garden Gate garden shop in Gulf Breeze, Florida. With this shot (1/400 sec at f/2.8. ISO 50) I was using the Sony A7M2 with the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 lens handheld. Now even though I did do this shot handheld (auto focus) I found it to be hit and miss. Meaning auto focus to me is not super fast and has a hard time if doing Macro shots when trying to follow a moving subject. Now when mounted on a tripod and using manual focus (using focus peaking) it is super sharp.
Post process with this image was done with Capture One Pro 8.3.1 along with OnOne Perfect Effects 9.5 via Photoshop CC.

Després de perseguir aquesta mosca durant una bona estona per tota la casa, se'm va parar i em va deixar fotografiar-la com si d'un maniquí es tractés, continuo pensant que es va quedar imnotitzada amb l'objectiu aprop.
I was always so impressed by macro photography, and it never failed to amaze me, how close you can actually get to your desired subject. I am light years away from those amazing pictures that i wanna be able to shoot, but hey, maybe someday i will get there. So far i have to practice, practice, practice!! :D And save money for an appropriate lens, that might help a little :P haha. So i decided i want to do a very special series about macro photography, so this is my first take on just that. I am not completely satisfied with it, the sharpness is not how i want it to be. But if you shoot with cheap extension tubes, and rush yourself to get the shot, before the battery runs out, i guess the end result is kinda okay :D
